TEKS for the Week: A.2B, A.2C, A.2D, A.2E, A.2F, A.2G, A.3A

Monday: Take notes on 3.6 Modeling Direct Variation; Complete 3.6 Monitoring Progress #7 in class;✏️HOMEWORK- 3.6 Online assignment on BigIdeasMath.

Tuesday: Work in groups to model direct variation situations using multiple representations (graphical, tabular, verbal and algebraic) and identifying the constant of variation. ✏️HOMEWORK- Begin the  Chapter 3A Review – complete #1-15, omitting #12.  You must show your work on notebook paper neatly and orderly.

Wednesday: You will complete the Chapter 3A Review in class. ✏️HOMEWORK- STUDY for the test.

Thursday: 📌Chapter 3A TEST

Friday: 3.7 Transformations of Graphs of Linear Functions (A.3.E) – We will focus on Translations only today; ✏️HOMEWORK- TBD

WE WILL HAVE A QUIZ ON Wednesday! 

Monday: Finding x and y-intercepts using C/A and C/B, and find slope using -A/B.  HOMEWORK- Worksheet

Tuesday:  We will take notes over Lesson 3.5- Linear Equations in Slope-Intercept Form and complete 3.5 online exercises; HOMEWORK- Complete the online 3.5 Exercises if not finished in class

Wednesday: QUIZ over finding x and y intercepts(using both methods- zeroing out and C/A & C/B); We will then take notes on 3.6 Model Direct Variation; HOMEWORK- Complete 3.6 Monitoring Progress #1-6 pages 134-136 in the textbook.

Thursday: Work in groups to model direct variation situations using multiple representations (graphical, tabular, verbal and algebraic) and identifying the constant of variation. NO HOMEWORK

Friday: Review Chapter 3 material;   NO HOMEWORK

MONDAY:  📌Quiz 3.1 to 3.3;Click and watch the following  2 videos.  YOU ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE THE NOTES SHEET AS YOU GO. 1) Identifying Independent and Dependent Variables and 2) Identify Independent and Dependent Variable on Various Representational Modes .✏️HOMEWORK- Complete the videos and notes if not done in class.

TUESDAY:    Take Notes on 3.4 Graphing Linear Equations in Standard Form (horizontal and vertical lines, finding x and y intercepts, finding the zero of a function);  ✏️HOMEWORK- Complete Lesson 3.4 Monitoring Progress pg.116-117 #1-4.  

WEDNESDAY: —-EARLY RELEASE—- Students will the complete the online 3.4 assignment at www.bigideasmath.com.   ✏️ HOMEWORK- Complete 3.4 online assignment. YOU MUST SHOW WORK ON NOTEBOOK PAPER AND IT WILL BE TURNED IN AS PART OF YOUR GRADE.  SEE ME tomorrow morning during TUTORING time if you have any questions !!!

THURSDAY:  Finish 3.4 notes and practice on finding the zero of a function; NO HOMEWORK

FRIDAY: Take notes on 3.5 Graphing Linear Equations in Slope-Intercept Form (A.2.A, A.3.A, A.3.B, A.3.C) – Identifying slopes and y-intercepts, using the slope-intercept form to graph, and converting standard form into slope-intercept form; NO HOMEWORK!!!
