Monday:  Lesson 4.4 Equations of Parallel and Perpendicular Lines; HOMEWORK- none; Good luck to our girls’ basketball teams! 

Tuesday: CAREER DAY Field Trip

Wednesday: Watch a video and take notes on 4.3 in your journal (writing equations in standard form); Do the practice problems  4.3 from the textbook – pg. 177 #3-20; HOMEWORK- Complete the video/notes and textbook problems if not finished in class.

Thursday: Watch a video and take notes on 4.4 in your journal (parallel and perpendicular lines); Do the practice problems 4.4 from the textbook – pg. 183 #9-14, 19-22 ; HOMEWORK- Complete the video notes and textbook problems if not finished in class

Friday: Ch4A Review (Lessons 4.1-4.4); HOMEWORK- STUDY FOR THE TEST!!

MONDAY: Lesson 4.1 Writing Equations in Slope-Intercept Form;HOMEWORK-  Watch  VL5B Linear Equations in Point-Slope Form and complete the notes sheet.  Click Alg VL5B notes for a copy of notes to fill in with VL5B.

TUESDAY:  Lesson 4.2 Writing Linear Equations in Point-Slope Form.  Students will practice writing equations in Slope-Intercept form and Point-Slope Form by doing the Writing Linear Equations (Point-Slope Form) task cards; NO HOMEWORK 

WEDNESDAY: EARLY RELEASE – NO HOMEWORK 

THURSDAY: Students will complete the task card activity from Wednesday and review for the QUIZ we will take on Friday!  NO HOMEWORK- Happy Halloween!

FRIDAY: Quiz 4.1-4.2 – Writing Equations in Slope-Intercept and Point-Slope Form; After completing the quiz, watch VL5C Linear Equations in Standard Form  and complete the notes sheet (Alg VL5C notes). Lesson 4.3 Writing Linear Equations in Standard Form; HOMEWORK- Finish the video lesson if not finished in class.

Monday: Take notes on Modeling Direct Variation; Discuss 3.6 Monitoring Progress #7 ; ✏️HOMEWORK pg. 137-138 #3-21 odds (DUE by WEDNESDAY)

Tuesday: Work in groups to model direct variation situations using multiple representations (graphical, tabular, verbal and algebraic) and identifying the constant of variation;✏️HOMEWORK- Begin the  Chapter 3A Review – complete #1-15, omitting #12.  You must show your work on notebook paper neatly and orderly.

Wednesday: You will complete the Chapter 3A Review in class (omitting #25-29); ✏️HOMEWORK- STUDY for the test.

Thursday: 📌Chapter 3A TEST; NO HOMEWORK

Friday: 3.7 Transformations of Graphs of Linear Functions (A.3.E) – We will focus on Translations only today; ✏️HOMEWORK- TBD

Wednesday: Complete the Practice Quiz for 3.1-3.3 found on page 114 to prepare for the QUIZ we will take tomorrow!!! Answers to the Practice Quiz are posted in Google classroom or in the following link- Practice-Quiz-3.1-3.3. HOMEWORK- Complete the Practice Quiz if not finished yet.
